Construction: The New Cow

When we decided to move The Motley Cow from its beloved, original site on Market Street to Linn Street, we knew we had our work cut out for us. We valued the cozy intimacy, the openness, and the worn character of the old spot, and wanted to recreate that in the new location. How could we do that in a space three and a half times bigger and brand new? We looked to our value of recycling. We scoured the area for used, quirky materials and objects with character. Our team, led by contractor Mark Kennedy and interior designer Dorothy Fowles, innovated and created. We really like the results.
